In order to advance the important task of documenting and categorizing low incidence disorders, we plan to expand and develop more GeneticaLens databases to include Morquio and the MPS disorders, Rett disorder, Autism Spectrum disorders, Tourette syndrome, and numerous others. Eventually to include a broad selection of databases on different rare disorders, GeneticaLens will:

a) lower healthcare costs due to the reduction in mistaken diagnoses and treatments;
b) expand the education and training of professionals and families;
c) improve the quality of life for individuals & families, resulting in greater productivity for these families and the communities surrounding them.
